Stefan de Vrij & Ivan Perisic Will Start On The Inter Bench In La Spezia, Italian Media Report

Stefan de Vrij and Ivan Perisic will start Inter’s match against Spezia on Friday evening from the bench, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Dutchman and the Croatian will both be given a chance to catch their breath and will be replaced by Danilo D’Ambrosio and Robin Gosens.

Stefan de Vrij has been recovering from a calf injury which is why he only played half of the game against Hellas Verona and Simone Inzaghi clearly feels he does not need to be risked against Spezia this evening.

Robin Gosens’ inclusion means that he will make his first start for the team. It is not yet decided whether the left centre back will be Alessandro Bastoni or Federico Dimarco.

In the attack, Lautaro Martinez will return to the starting lineup and he is likely to have Joaquin Correa alongside him.
