Inter have had their spark rekindled with their win away to Juventus on return from the international break, and they continued to show this with their victory over Spezia yesterday evening.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who suggest that the 3-1 Serie A win away in Liguria was further evidence that the win over the Bianconeri has galvanized the Nerazzurri.

Inter badly needed three points in their return from the international break, with their form in the weeks leading up to the break having seen them slip from being Serie A title favourites.

The match that awaited them was one of their most difficult fixtures, away to Juventus, but they did what they needed to in order to take three points away from the Allianz Stadium.

The nature of the win,a gritty backs-to-the-wall defensive display, will have given the team belief and confidence although it hardly proved that they are back to their best.

However, in the two matches since then, wins over Hellas Verona and Spezia, the team have looked like they’re playing at their best once again, and for the Corriere this shows the mental effects of their huge win over Juventus.
