Inter-linked Borussia Monchengladbach defender Matthias Ginter has yet to make a final decision on where he will play his football next season.

Speaking to German broadcaster Sport1, the 28-year-old admitted that he will still take some time to decide where to move on a free transfer and noted that there are a number of factors which he will take into account.

Ginter will be available on a free transfer at the end of the current campaign when his current deal with Gladbach expires, as he has decided not to renew with the German club.

A number of clubs have been linked with the German for the summer transfer, and Inter are one of the clubs reported to have the strongest links.

It remains to be seen if the Nerazzurri would still be keen and if the player would want to make the switch to Serie A, but his mind is not yet made up and if he does lean towards Inter then he could represent a bargain opposition to bolster the backline.

Ginter stated that it is “Difficult to establish a timeline,” for his decision, elaborating that “I have no idea if it will be in one, two, three weeks.”

“It will take patience until then,” he added. “It will also be important to keep making my coach happy. There are aspects both on and off the pitch that must be considered.”
