Inter forward Joaquin Correa lacked decisive impact in front of goal in yesterday evening’s 3-1 Serie A win over Spezia, according to Italian media.

The 27-year-old received middling grades in the player ratings for the match across Italian media, via L’Interista, who noted that for all his technical assuredness Correa provided little in terms of end product.

Correa was given the nod ahead of Lautaro Martinez in the starting eleven despite the latter being back from suspension, and he was able to fairly effectively take up positions to support the team in buildup.

However, the Argentine had once double chance in which he shot straight at Spezia goalkeeper Ivan Provedel, and otherwise did little in front of goal.

The Gazzetta dello Sport gave the Argentine a score of 5/10, whilst all of Tuttosport, TuttoMercatoWeb, the Corriere della Sera, the Corriere dello Sport, and L’Interista felt that his display was worthy of a 5.5/10 grade.
