Former Italy and Juventus head coach Marcello Lippi feels that regardless of their Scudetto credentials, Inter are the most pleasing of the Serie A title rivals on the eye.

Speaking to the “Il Diabolico e Il Divino” pdocast, as reported by FCInter1908, Lippi weighed in on the Serie A title race and named the Nerazzurri as the most enjoyable of the top three sides to watch.

Inter have generally looked to play a high-tempo, possession-focused game this season, with their style of play oriented towards pulling opposition defenses out of shape with quick and precise passing combinations.

This has not always been enough to secure results, with the run of bad form during February and March in particular seeing the Nerazzurri regularly fail to take three points from matches in which they dominated possession.

However, for Lippi, it is an aesthetically pleasing style of play at any rate, with the former coach stating that “Inter have worked very well in recent years, first with Conte and then with Inzaghi.”

“I don’t know if they can be considered favourites at the moment,” he added, “but they’re the team that I enjoy watching the most out of those in the top three.”
