Former Torino and Roma striker Ciccio Graziani feels that Inter’s fixture list in their remaining matches can work in their favour in the Serie A title race.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, Graziani suggested that the teams that Inter have left to face could be a fairly kind set of opponents for them to keep up their momentum and clinch the Scudetto.

Inter have now faced all of their top four rivals after their win over Juventus, whilst they have gotten both clashes against the likes of Lazio, Atalanta, and Fiorentina out of the way as well.

Next weekend the Nerazzurri host Roma, who are in good form and should be a formidable opponent for them to try and take three points from to keep their title push going strong.

However, after that Inter will face only teams from the midtable and relegation fight, and Graziani notes how this could prove to be an important factor.

“Getting back to form in the league after their derby loss has been a struggle for Inter,” he said, “giving rise to a crisis.”

He went on that “They swept it away with their victory over Juventus and now, thanks to better physical fitness, they’re back to being back the real Inter.”

“On paper they has a good advantage, because the teams they face are less competitive than the ones who Milan face,” he predicted.
