Inter will meet with the agents of defender Milan Skriniar and wingback Ivan Perisic for contract extension talks after their Serie A clash with Bologna.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the club are hoping to accelerate towards resolution of the pair’s contract situation once the fixture list becomes less congested.

For the time being, the focus remains squarely on the pitch with Tuesday’s Coppa Italia semi-final second leg against AC Milan followed by Serie A clashes with Roma and then Bologna within the space of a week.

After that, however, the Nerazzurri will have a little more breathing room, and they will attend to important matters off the pitch.

The club are increasingly aiming to get a new contract agreement with Skriniar over the line, with everything in place for a new deal until the end of June 2026 which will see the 27-year-old earn a net of €4.5 million per season.

Meanwhile, there is more work to be done to convince Perisic, with the club yet to find an agreement with the Croat regarding wages and duration of an extension.

However, the Nerazzurri are optimistic that they will be able to reach an agreement with Perisic starting with when they sit down with his agent not long after their match against Bologna.
