Inte”r are considering a move to sign Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos during the summer transfer window to strengthen their central options.

This according to Italian journalist Niccolo Ceccarini, who reported in his column for TuttoMercatoWeb that the Nerazzurri are considering the 25-year-old a target and that he could ask for a move from the Spanish capital.

Ceballos has not been in favour this season in Madrid, with the Spanish midfielder rarely featuring from the start or from the bench for Carlo Ancelotti’s site.

For this reason, he is increasingly determined to seek a move to a club where he will be able to get back to form with more appearances and a more prominent role.

Inter are aware of the Spaniard’s situation, and could decide to move for him ahead of next season, with the Merengues potentially ready to let go of him given that he is not an important player in their squad.

“Inter are always trying to strengthen in midfield, and their list of names also includes that of Ceballos,” Ceccarini writes.

“The Spaniard is finding very little playing time at Real Madrid and is ready to ask for a sale to find consistency,” he adds.”

He explains that “Marotta and Ausilio are at the window, ready to seize the opportunity.”
