Monza are aiming to sign Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi for next season if they are promoted to Serie A at the end of the current campaign.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Lombard club have identified the 26-year-old as a key target to strengthen their squad for life in the top flight, and that Inter value him at €15-20 million.

Monza are currently second place in the Serie B table, and could reach promotion to the top flight directly should they stay there until the end of the season, or make it through the playoffs.

Should the Lombard side reach Serie A then they will move for Sensi, and the Nerazzurri could be amenable to a deal given that the midfielder is not a major part of their plans.

Inter value Sensi at around €15-20 million, but given that an immediate permanent sale would not likely feasible he could join Monza on a paid loan with a purchase obligation.
