Inter are in talks with the agents of Eintracht Frankfurt wing-back Filip Kostic, but as of yet there is no offer from the Nerazzurri.

This according to German journalist Florian Plettenberg, who reported in a tweet that the 29-year-old is likely to leave his current team with a Serie A team the most probable destination.

Kostic has been linked with Inter for a number of transfer windows, with the Serb having been one of the Nerazzurri’s main targets to potentially replace Ivan Perisic if he had left last summer.

In the end, Perisic remained at Inter, while Kostic also remained at his club despite having also been a major target for Lazio who were in talks for his signature.

However, according to Plettenberg, Eintracht will be aiming to sell Kostic this summer transfer window, and the Nerazzurri are one of the teams in talks, possibly in the event that Perisic does not extend his current contract.

Plettenberg’s tweet reads, “News on Kostic: Frankfurt would sell the EL hero in summer for around €15m. Bosses expect him to move to Italy.”

“His new agents negotiating with Inter: 4-years-contract, around €5m net per year. But: Eintracht has no offer on the table.”
