Inter could make the signing of Paulo Dybala in the summer a reward to coach Simone Inzaghi should he guide the team to the Serie A title.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the team could show their appreciation of the coach’s work with the signing should he win the Scudetto this season.
Inzaghi has managed to guide the Nerazzurri to a point where they are well in the hunt for the title with just a few matches to go, with their fate currently in their own hands.
The former Lazio coach had to deal with numerous setbacks in the preparations for the season as the club made major sales to meet financial targets, but he’s hardly allowed their level to drop.
Should Inzaghi guide the Nerazzurri to a second consecutive Serie A title, and potentially a Coppa Italia trophy as well, it will come at the end of a season which also saw them win the Supercoppa Italiana and reach the round of sixteen in the Champions League.
Given what he has shown even after a transfer window which saw key players depart, the club could be aiming to support the coach with a top-class player who he is a fan of in the form of Dybala.
