Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi is aiming for a move to Inter this summer despite the interest of a number of top clubs in Serie A and elsewhere in Europe.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the 22-year-old feels that the Nerazzurri’s footballing project is ideal for him and would hope to link up with current Sassuolo teammate Gianluca Scamacca.

Frattesi’s form this season with the Neroverdi has attracted the interest of a number of clubs including Juventus, AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, and West Ham United.

However, Inter look to be the club in the most advanced talks with Sassuolo, with the midfielder having been identified as the perfect backup for Nicolo Barella in their squad.

Frattesi would like the move to Inter, especially in light of the fact that his Neroverdi teammate and friend Gianluca Scamacca is a major target for the Nerazzurri, and he would like to move to the same club as the 23-year-old.
