Inter are set to start with their first-choice defensive trio of Stefan de Vrij, Milan Skriniar, and Alessandro Bastoni in tomorrow evening’s Coppa Italia semi-final second leg against AC Milan.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that all of the back three are fully fit going into the match and will be trusted to play from the start.

De Vrij only played a few minutes at the end of the Nerazzuri’s Serie A win over Spezia on Friday, but he is all ready to take his position at the centre of the defense against the Rossoneri having put a thigh problem behind him.

Meanwhile, Bastoni was taken off late on against Spezia after suffering from some cramp, but the issue was nothing serious and the 23-year-old will play from the start against the Rossoneri.

Skriniar will also play on the right of the defense where he will hope to continue his string of excellent recent performances by keeping the Rossoneri’s left side of Theo Hernandez and Rafael Leao quiet.

There should not be any surprises in the starting eleven, as coach Simone Inzaghi sets out to play with his strongest team for a place in the Coppa Italia final.
