Inter have identified Udinese striker Beto as their main alternative in attack this summer if they are unable to sign Gianluca Scamacca from Sassuolo.

This according to Italian news outlet Calciomercato.com, who report that the Nerazzurri have lined up the 24-year-old as their main Plan B to Scamacca as they see him as having the most suitable profile.

Inter are set to reinforce their attack during the summer window, and one of the main profiles being sought is a centre-forward who can provide similar qualities to those which Edin Dzeko adds to the team.

The Bosnian remains a key figure in the team but, at 36 and with his current contract set to run out at the end of next season, they know that they cannot rely on him forever.

For this reason, Scamacca is a priority target as he could act as the long-term successor to Dzeko, but Beto is also being closely monitored, and he is admired by Inter coach Simone Inzaghi.
