Midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is one of three Inter players who would miss the final of the Coppa Italia if he picks up a yellow card and the team go through against AC Milan this evening.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who note that Inter trio Brozovic, Lautaro Martinez, and Matias Vecino are all one booking away from suspension in the competition.

Brozovic is one of the Nerazzurri’s key players and given that the 29-year-old has no real backup in the squad, they will be very keen to have him available and at his best should they reach the final of the Coppa Italia.

Accordingly, the Croat will be walking a tightrope in this evening’s semi-final second leg against the Rossoneri, knowing that a booking would rule him out of either the final or, in the event of elimination, the first match in next season’s edition of the competition.

Meanwhile, the only Rossoneri player one booking away from suspension is Alexis Saelemakers.
