Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo will be ruled out of Saturday’s Serie A clash with Inter after picking up a booking in the Giallorossi’s 1-1 draw with Napoli yesterday evening.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInter1908, who report that the yellow card was the 22-year-old’s fifth of the season and that he will therefore miss the weekend’s match against the Nerazzurri.

Zaniolo was one of three Roma players who went into their match away to Napoli one booking away from suspension, and the midfielder picked up a yellow card for dissent.

The sporting authority in Italy should uphold the suspension and confirm that Zaniolo will miss out on the clash with Inter.

It remains to be seen how Giallorossi coach Jose Mourinho will set his team up for the match, with Zaniolo having been a regular starting in an attacking pair alongside striker Tammy Abraham, though he will not be without options.
