Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi got his lineup and his tactics right in his team’s Coppa Italia semi-final second leg against AC Milan, in the view of Italian media.

The coach received excellent scores across the board in the player ratings for the 3-0 win over the Rossoneri, as highlighted by L’Interista.

Inzaghi made a couple fairly bold decisions in the team’s starting eleven, but both paid off handsomely, as Matteo Darmian and Joaquin Correa provided two assists for Lautaro Martinez’s brace.

The team looked to have fully mastered the approach that the coach had asked of them as they pulled the Rossoneri’s defense out of shape all over the pitch in the first half, whilst in the second they held out for their clean sheet and the win.

TuttoMercatoWeb gave Inzaghi a 6.5/10 score, whilst the Gazzetta dello Sport and L’Interista went for 7.5/10 and the likes of Tuttosport and the Corriere dello Sport went as high as 8/10.
