Inter defender Lautaro Martinez made sure that his team got off to a very quick start with his early goal against AC Milan in yesterday evening’s 3-0 Coppa Italia win.

The Argentine scored the first of his two first-half goals in just the fourth minute to set the tone, smashing in a Matteo Darmian cross to get his team off the mark.

As football statistics account Opta noted in a tweet, this is far from the first time he’s made such an impact early in a match.

They tweeted, “5 – Lautaro Martínez has been involved in each of the last three goals scored during the first five minutes of play in the Milan derbies (two goals and one assist). Flash.”
