Inter midfielder Arturo Vidal is a serious fitness doubt for the match against AS Roma on Saturday evening after a challenge from AC Milan’s Theo Hernandez, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, the Chilean was on the receiving end of a very rough tackle from Rossoneri defender Theo Hernandez on Tuesday night but it was not noticed by the referee at the time.

Arturo Vidal did not take part in the cool-down training yesterday at Appiano Gentile because he had to limit the amount of training he was doing with the injury in mind.

Inter face AS Roma at San Siro on Saturday evening and whilst he was unlikely to start that game anyway, Simone Inzaghi will probably not be able to call on him from the bench in the second half or of there is an injury.
