Inter are once again being linked with Argentine midfielder Rodrigo De Paul who could leave Atletico Madrid this summer, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by FCInternews, Rodrigo De Paul’s first year at Atletico Madrid since his move from Udinese in the summer has not been a resounding success as he has struggled to fit into Diego Simeone’s system.

Inter were one of the teams linked with him when it became clear that he would leave Udinese but the price tag meant the deal was not possible for the Nerazzurri.

It is a deal they are willing to explore again this summer though and it would likely be a loan with a right to sign the player permanently.

It is not definite that the player will be leaving the Spanish side but it is not impossible to imagine him asking for a move elsewhere for more game time in a system that suits him better.
