The superb recent performances of Ivan Perisic are forcing Inter to offer him the contract that he initially asked for earlier in the season, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Libero, the Croatian winger has been proving to the Nerazzurri that he deserves a lucrative contract offer even though he is now 33 years old.

Inter have certain budgets that they do not go above for the contract renewals of over 30s but they could be forced to make an exception because Simone Inzaghi does not want to lose Ivan Perisic.

It is thought that including bonuses, Ivan Perisic wants to receive €6 million per season. This is a big figure for Inter but they are inclined to find a way to make it work.

There was suggestions that any new deal would be a year-long with an option for another year but now it is likely to be a two-year deal, closer to the three-year deal that he requested.
