Inter boss Simone Inzaghi will be rewarded by club president Steven Zhang for his excellent work this season in the form of a new contract, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport today, at the end of the season Steven Zhang will approach Simone Inzaghi with the offer of a new contract on a much higher wage than the one he is currently on.

There is unilateral agreement among the directors at the club that Simone Inzaghi should be offered an improved deal at the end of the season and there is no suggestion that the coach will not accept it.

It is also reported that Simone Inzaghi used the negative reports in the press about the team in recent weeks to get a reaction out of the players for the Derby della Madonnina on Tuesday.

He pointed out that it was the fourth derby of the season and they still had not won one. The Nerazzurri went on to win 3-0.
