Winning the Scudetto and the Coppa Italia this season could result in Inter receiving around €40 million at a time when the club really needs it, according to a report in the Italian print media today.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, it could be a very lucrative season for Inter if they manage to complete the domestic treble of the Scudetto, the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italiana that has already been won.
Inter’s main financial aim for this season is to end with a deficit of €100 million which would be a serious improvement on last season when they ended with a deficit of €245.6 million.
This goal has effectively already been achieved thanks to performances in cup competitions this season but by winning two more trophies, they could close the season with a deficit of €85 million.
That would put the club in a better starting position for the 2022/23 season.
