Winning the Scudetto and the Coppa Italia to go with the Supercoppa Italiana would benefit Inter in many different ways, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are in a strong position to win three trophies this season which would only be the second time they have won that particular hat-trick of accolades. The first was in 2005/06 once the Scudetto had been awarded.

The combination of winning Serie A and the Coppa Italia would bring around €40 million to the club and that does not include television rights and participation prizes.

This would allow Inter to surpass their target of ending the season with a deficit of €100 million and allow a better financial starting position for the 2022/23 season.

Winning the league would also mean going into pot one for the Champions League draw next season. A second star also opens up multiple marketing and sponsorship opportunities.
