Inter striker Edin Dzeko has the chance to net his 100th Serie A goal when he faces his former side AS Roma on Saturday evening, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by FCInternews, the Bosnian forward currently has 98 Serie A goals so it is very likely that he will reach 100 before the season has finished.

It would be even better for both him and Inter if he reached the milestone by scoring twice against AS Roma on Saturday in front of a packed San Siro.

If he does manage to score twice more before the end of the season he will become the third-oldest player to ever reach 100 Serie A goals.

The second oldest is Sergio Pellissier who was 37 years and 243 days old, and the oldest is Goran Pandev who was 37 years and 268 days old when he managed it.
