Former AS Roma midfielder Stefano Impallomeni has said that Inter must play better against AS Roma than they did against AC Milan on Tuesday if they want to take all three points, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking during an interview with TMW Radio, via FCInter1908, Stefano Impallomeni suggested that Inter did not play well for the entire game against AC Milan in the Coppa Italia on Tuesday night and they will not get away with that when they face the Giallorossi on Saturday evening.

“If Inter play like this, they will not win against Roma. To beat Roma they must score at least two goals. If they do not win against Roma, Bologna will also be tough.”

He then explained that if Inter do manage to beat AS Roma and Bologna in their next two games then they have a clear path to the Scudetto. He also stressed that the Giallorossi will be treating the game at San Siro as a cup final as they have less to play for now.

“If they win these games, they have the path to the Scudetto. With Roma it will therefore be a final for them because Roma have nothing to lose.”

The match kicks off at 18:00 local time.
