Inter boss Simone Inzaghi is tempted to give Robin Gosens his first start for Inter when the Nerazzurri take on AS Roma on Saturday, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported today by Tuttosport, the German winger could be in line to make his first start for Inter since he joined the club from Atalanta at the end of the January transfer window.

Ivan Perisic has managed to hold onto his position at left wing despite Robin Gosens recovering from his big injury but the Croatian will certainly need a rest soon.

Given Robin Gosens came on against AC Milan in the Coppa Italia on Tuesday night and scored Inter’s third goal, Simone Inzaghi may want to harness that momentum and give him the start against Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma side on Saturday evening.

It shows that the German winger has impressed the coach if he is contemplating starting him in such a big game.
