Italian journalist Luca Marchetti has suggested that Napoli’s title hopes are not over yet because Inter and AC Milan have tough games left to play, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

As was said by the journalist on Radio Marte during the Marte Sport Live broadcast, via FCInter1908, Luca Marchetti stressed that Napoli are still in the race for the Scudetto but he feels something has changed since the loss at home to Fiorentina recently.

“The championship race for Napoli is not over yet until maths condemns the Azzurri. After the defeat at home with Fiorentina, something has changed and I think it is starting to weigh on the players’ minds a little.”

One of the reasons why he thinks that they are still in the running is that Inter and AC Milan, the two teams ahead of the Azzurri in the table, have got complicated matches coming up.

“As long as there is the possibility of continuing to dream, it can happen, also because Milan and Inter have complicated games left to play. I don’t think Spalletti is already thinking about next season, he will want to win them all.”

Inter have to face AS Roma on Saturday but then their remaining fixtures don’t feature any of the big sides. AC Milan are away at Lazio and then have tricky fixtures against Sassuolo, Hellas Verona and Fiorentina.
