Sassuolo forward Giacomo Raspadori has said that he is really happy to e linked with a move to big clubs such as Inter and Juventus, according to a report in the Italian media today.

Speaking during an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport that was released today, the young Sassuolo forward talked about his future and the frequent rumours linking him with a move to Juventus or Inter.

“I cannot deny that I am happy that my name is being mentioned for a transfer to Juventus or to other big clubs. My ambition is to play there, at that level. And if I succeed it will be thanks to Sassuolo, the club that made me grow in every respect.”

When it was pointed out to him that he may not be a permanent starter at a club of that size, he said that it is not a problem because he likes to earn the right to start the games.

“No, I like earning things day after day. I have never taken anything for granted. I love to work hard to achieve things.”

He also talked about the more intense pace that the teams at the top of the table play at and he said he aspires to be in that kind of side.

“Watching it on TV you realize the difference. And that is the level that I aspire to play at. I feel ready for the speed of thought and if your head goes fast you take less time to adapt to the rhythms and intensity.”

In terms of his own abilities, Giacomo Raspadori believes that he is a silent leader on the pitch who transmits energy to his teammates.

“I don’t have to value myself. For sure, thanks to Sassuolo, I am aware of my means. I think about having fun and use all my energy on the pitch. I am a silent leader, I transmit the energy to my teammates with my attitude, and I never give up. It is easy for a young player to be exalted after a few games, but it is only the beginning of a journey. This is why balance is needed.”
