Former Lazio goalkeeper Fernando Orsi has said that if Inter can beat AS Roma on Saturday evening, they will go on to win the Scudetto from there, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking during a broadcast on Radio Radio, via FCInter1908, Fernando Orsi appeared to be very confident about the Nerazzurri’s title chances providing they can win their final match against one of the big teams in Serie A.

“Inter are starting to find the form. Barella is becoming a decisive player. Inter have exploited the big moments and it is a decisive match. If Inter win against Roma they will win the Scudetto, if instead they lose or draw it will all be undone for the Nerazzurri.”

Inter will go back to the top of the Serie A table if they win at San Siro on Saturday night but AC Milan can then overtake them with a win against Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday evening.

There has been complaints that the referee chosen for the game, Sozza, was born in Milan. Fernando Orsi feels that there is nothing to gain by focusing on that even though Jose Mourinho often talks about referees.

“It is useless to talk about the referee Sozza, it is not a problem. I understand that when its Mourinho he always talks about the referee.”
