Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi is a major target for Inter during the summer transfer window, though they are far from the only club interested in signing him.

Speaking to Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, the 22-year-old addressed some of the rumours linking him to Juventus and the Premier League specifically, admitting that they intrigue him though not saying anything concrete about his future.

Frattesi’s form in his first season back at parent club Sassuolo in Serie A this season has marked him out as a major prospect in central midfielder.

Inter are reportedly prioritizing the Neroverdi man’s signature as they look to bring in a player to bolster their options in central midfield with the likes of Arturo Vidal and Matias Vecino set to leave this summer.

However, the Nerazzurri could face real competition to sign Frattesi, and as he made clear, he is interested in a number of options for his future but committed to finishing the season right now.

Regarding interest from the Bianconeri, he said that “I’m certainly flattered by it, but right now isn’t the time to think about these things. I just want to end the season strongly and then we’ll see what happens in the summer.”

And regarding the possibility of a move to the Premier League, Frattesi stated that “I would like to, it’s a league that I could certainly fit in to due to its characteristics.”

“But this would definitely be a step to take in two or three years, after having established myself,” he went on.

“But it’s a league that intrigues me a lot,” he added, “especially the fact that it’s not so tactical, you go back and forth for ninety minutes.”
