Over 75,000 spectators are expected at this evening’s Serie A clash between Inter and Roma at the San Siro.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the match is once again almost sold-out as the Nerazzurri’s Coppa Italia clash with AC Milan on Tuesday evening had been.

Inter host the Giallorossi in a match which could be crucial in their pursuit of a second successive Serie A title, whilst their opponents will be aiming to keep the pressure on Juventus in the race for Champions League football.

The match should have an intense atmosphere, and has attracted a sizable audience as had been the case with the Nerazzurri’s derby win over their city rivals in the Coppa Italia.

Between the two matches at the San Siro, over 150,000 spectators will pass through the stadium, with gate receipts between them totalling in excess of €8 million.
