Inter midfielder Arturo Vidal has told his entourage that they can begin talks with Brazilian giants Flamengo on a move this summer.

This according to Goal.com, via FCInterNews, who report that the Chilean has given his representatives approval to start working on a move to the Brazilian side.

Vidal has been strongly linked to Flamengo for some time, with the player having even spoken openly about being open to the idea of a move to the club in the near future.

The 34-year-old’s current contract with the Nerazzurri is set to run out at the end of June, though there is an option in it for another season which the club must pay him a severance in order to avoid triggering.

Should the midfielder agree a deal with Flamengo through his representatives, then he could take a big step away from a future with Inter, though that would still be some way away.
