Legendary former Inter defender Beppe Bergomi feels that Bologna and Udinese will be the two toughest matches standing in the way of the Nerazzurri winning the Scudetto.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, Bergomi identified the two teams as the most difficult that the Nerazzurri will have to face in the run-in due to their physical, counterattacking styles.

Inter have only teams from the bottom half of the Serie A table to go among their remaining matches in Serie A, but they will not be getting complacent or assuming that they have any straightforward matches.

Among the Nerazzurri’s last two matches they have teams who could be involved in the relegation battle and will certainly be motivated, but for Bergomi it is Bologna and Udinese who they most have to worry about.

Inter managed to beat both the Rossoblu and the Bianconeri in their matches in the first half of the campaign, but both teams have shown how organized and resilient they can be in recent weeks even against strong opposition.

“For Inter,” he said, “the main obstacles are a Bologna team who are in very good form, and above all, Udinese, who are a physical team who can prove to counterattack well.”
