Referee Daniele Doveri has officially been appointed to be in charge of Inter’s Serie A clash with Bologna on Wednesday.

This is confirmed by the Lega Serie A, via FCInterNews, who also announce the rest of the officiating crew who will take charge of the match along with Doveri.

Doveri will be assisted in his duties by the likes of Davide Imperiale and Dario Cecconi, whilst the role of fourth official will be filled by Matteo Marchetti.

In the VAR booth, Michael Fabbri will oversee the match to ensure that any major officials made by the on-pitch officials are corrected, and Giacomo Paganessi will assist him in his duties.

The Nerazzurri will be hoping that the focus remains squarely on the action on the pitch rather than on any refereeing controversies as they go in search of three more points to try and get over the finish line for the Scudetto.
