The San Siro could be sold out when Inter host Empoli in Serie A next month, with over 60,000 tickets for the clash already having been sold.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the presale of tickets is on course for another sold out match.

Inter’s matches against the likes of AC Milan in the Coppa Italia and Roma in Serie A were packed houses at the San Siro, and they are on course with another with their match against Empoli which could be a decisive one for the Scudetto.

With capacity restrictions for stadiums lifted in Italy since the beginning of this month, the Nerazzurri can count on significant fan support over the run-in of a dramatic title race.

Meanwhile, over five thousand Inter supporters are set to travel to both Bologna and Udinese for the Nerazzurri’s next two matches in Serie A.
