Former Inter and Roma forward Mancini feels that in the match between his two former teams, the Nerazzurri proved themselves to be the strongest team in Serie A.

Writing on his blog, via FCInterNews, the Brazilian gave the view that the Giallorossi were able to hold on at first, but eventually Inter’s quality was decisive.

Inter and Roma initially played out a fairly cagey match befitting two of the form sides at the top end of the Serie A table.

Both teams enjoyed spells of possession, but they only felt out the match rather than creating decisive opportunities to score.

However, once Inter went through the gears they found their fluid best, turning defense into attack and creating good chances with precision.

Mancini analyzes that “Roma held out well for thirty minutes, but eventually they had to give way to the strongest team in the league.”
