Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi feels that his team can take three points from their Serie A clash with Bologna despite the absence of captain Samir Handanovic and defender Alessandro Bastoni.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, the coach gave the view that Andrei Radu and Federico Dimarco will be up to the task of helping the Nerazzurri to victory against the Rossoblu.

Inter face one of the most crucial matches of their entire season, finally playing their game in hand against Bologna which will give them the chance to potentially go top of the table by a point.

It will not be easy, however, as the Rossoblu are in very good form having recently earned draws against the likes of AC Milan and Juventus.

Things will be made even more difficult for the Nerazzurri by the absences of Handanovic and Bastoni, with Raduand Dimarco respectively filling in for them, but Inzaghi has faith in his players.

“Everyone struggles with so many matches so close together,” the coach said. “Handanovic and Bastoni joined Gosens, Vidal, and Caicedo, who are with us but I won’t be able to call upon them.”

“But I’m confident in the players who’ll play in their place,” he added.

“It’s certainly a very important match, which comes at a unique moment,” Inzaghi continued. “We’ve already played many games but we know how important this match is for us.”

Regarding forward Joaquin Correa, he said that “He’s doing well, I have plenty of quality in attack.”

“I waited until this morning to choose the pair to start,” he added, “because Dzeko and Sanchez were also doing well. I hope to have  Caicedo back for Udine.”
