Inter are aiming to sell Stefan de Vrij this summer for a significant capital gain and then bring in Torino defender Bremer to replace him.

This according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin, who told the Twitch stream of Calciomercato.it, via FCInter1908, that cashing in on the Dutchman and then signing Bremer is a key part of the Nerazzurri’s plans for the summer transfer window.

De Vrij was signed from Lazio on a free transfer during the summer of 2018, so selling him for a fee would be very financially advantageous for the Nerazzurri who would be able to report a significant capital gain for his sale.

Bremer has long been reported to be the Nerazzurri’s primary defensive target for the summer, and the Brazilian could have the right profile to directly take the place of the 30-year-old in the heart of the Nerazzurri’s back three going forward.

Biasin predicted that the Nerazzurri would try for “An exit of de Vrij which would be a significant capital gain, and then replacing him with Bremer would be Inter’s plan.”
