Inter could sell out the San Siro for a third successive match in a row in their Serie A clash with Empoli next weekend.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the match is already on track for a possible sellout crowd.

The Nerazzurri’s past two matches have both seen the San Siro packed to capacity, against AC Milan in the Coppa Italia and then against Roma in the league.

As the team heads towards the climax of the season in a dramatic title race with city rivals AC Milan, every match can be decisive and interest is high, and so their match against Empoli is already on track to sell out.

Meanwhile, several thousand away Inter fans should be at the Nerazzurri’s Serie A clashes with Bologna this evening and then Udinese over the weekend as the supporters aim to make their presence felt.
