Inter goalkeeper Andrei Radu was in tears after the final whistle the Nerazzurri’s 2-1 Serie A loss to Bologna.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Romanian had to be consoled by teammates after the devastating loss.

Radu will not have expected to start in this evening’s match, but an injury to captain Samir Handanovic just hours before the game meant that the 24-year-old was called into action.

The stand-in keeper’s first league start of the match could not have gone much worse as he conceded a late Bologna winner due to a bad error in possession.

Radu looked disconsolate after the error, and at full-time was in tears as he had to be consoled by teammates, with third-choice goalkeeper Alex Cordaz particularly giving him words of support.

The 24-year-old was accompanied by teammates as he made his way to the locker room, and Denzel Dumfries blocked the cameras from intercepting him.
