Inter could manage to conduct their summer transfer business without sacrificing a big-name player from the first team if they can sell Andrea Pinamonti for a significant fee.

This according to Italian journalist Marco Barzaghi, who reported on his YouTube channel, via FCInter1908, that the 22-year-old’s value could have risen as high as €30-35 million and this could be a major financial boon to the Nerazzurri.

Inter will have to finish the summer transfer window meeting financial targets including slashing the wage bill and bringing in a net profit in terms of transfer fees.

The club have been widely reported as potentially needing to sell a big-name player from their squad, especially if they are to make signings to reinforce other areas of the squad.

However, according to Barzaghi, with Pinamonti’s form on loan for Empoli marking him out as a transfer target for a number of clubs, his sale could go a long way towards meeting financial objectives.

“Dybala is ready to join, he’s waiting for Inter to make ready for him,” Barzaghi said. “Vidal has instructed his agents to start negotiations with Flamengo, where he would like to move after this season.”

“Pinamonti could be an important key to not sacrificing a top player,” he went on, “given that his valuation, after his brace against Napoli, has reached €30 million.”

“In my opinion, €30-35 million could be enough for Inter to avoid sacrificing a top player,” he added.
