Inter defender Milan Skriniar and wingback Ivan Perisic were rare bright spots on a dismal evening for the Nerazzurri as they fell to a 2-1 Serie A defeat against Bologna yesterday evening.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who awarded the duo respectable 6.5/10 grades for their performances in the player ratings for the match.

Perisic scored a stunning solo goal just a couple minutes into proceedings which will have made the Nerazzurri think it was going to be their night, whilst Skriniar found a good balance of aggression and composure and pushed up the pitch well to keep the Rossoblu under pressure.

On the other hand, the newspaper were more critical of striker Lautaro Martinez’s display, giving the 24-year-old just a 5/10 score for his misfiring outing.

The same score was given to coach Simone Inzaghi, who they criticize for selecting Federico Dimarco in the back three when Danilo D’Ambrosio would have been better-equipped for the physical battle with Marko Arnautovic.

Lastly, the lowest score was naturally reserved for goalkeeper Andrei Radu, who didn’t have much to do but produced a horror-show when called upon, virtually costing the team the match with his late error, and he earned just a 3/10 score.
