Inter lost 2-1 to Bologna in Serie A yesterday evening, and it was perhaps the most impressive result of what’s been a strong run of form by the Rossoblu to finish the Serie A season.
The Emilian side had already earned 1-1 draws against the likes of AC Milan and Juventus in recent weeks, and they did one better by beating the Nerazzurri, having to come back from a goal down very early on.
As football statistics account Opta pointed out in a tweet, this is the first time that the Rossoblu have been unbeaten against the trio in a decade.
Their tweet reads, “3 – Bologna are unbeaten against Juventus, AC Milan and Inter in a single second half of a #SerieA season for their first time since 2011/12 campaign, under Stefano Pioli (draw against AC Milan and Juventus, win against Inter). Wall.“
