Inter boss Simone Inzaghi played down the mistake that Ionut Radu made against Bologna when he addressed the team at Appiano Gentile, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Simone Inzaghi gave a speech to the team in training on Thursday to discuss the Bologna match which ended 2-1 to the Rossoblu.

The second Bologna goal came after backup goalkeeper Ionut Radu had failed to control a pass from Ivan Perisic and Nicola Sansone was able to tap into an empty net.

The coach renewed the team’s trust in the Romanian goalkeeper and played down the importance of what had happened the previous night.

He emphasised that the team simply must win their last four matches of the season if they are to win the Scudetto this season.

The Inter players and staff must remain much calmer than they seemed against Bologna in the final few games of the season.
