Simone Inzaghi made it clear to his Inter squad in training that they should not give up on the Scudetto yet, according to a report in the Italian print media today.
As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport today, Simone Inzaghi gave a rousing speech to his players at training on Thursday after the shock defeat to Bologna on Wednesday night.
The coach reiterated to his team that this is not the time to give up on winning the Scudetto even though Inter and now two points behind AC Milan and no longer have a game in hand.
Inter went 1-0 up early in the first half at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara but then Bologna got an equaliser through Marko Arnautovic that was completely against the run of play.
The game was then decided when Ionut Radu failed to control the ball and allowed Nicola Sansone to poke home and make it 2-1.
Beppe Marotta and other members of the management team also spoke to the squad and will follow the end of the season very closely.
