Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot has said that the Bianconeri deserved more from the recent league game with Inter and the Supercoppa Italiana final, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking during an interview with DAZN, via FCInternews, the French midfielder talked about the huge Serie A match with Inter that ended 1-0 to the Nerazzurri and the Supercoppa Italiana final in January.

The league game very much put an end to any chance that Juventus had of staging a late title charge despite a poor end to the season. Adrien Rabiot says that it changed their mindset for the rest of the season.

“It is true, if we had won with Inter it would have changed everything, mentally our approach to the championship finale would have changed and also that of the opponents in front. Milan and Inter would have had all the pressure on them, it’s not easy to play when you have Juve behind.”

Inter will be facing Juventus again in the Coppa Italia final in May and Adrien Rabiot is excited to settle some scores against a team that he feels they should have beaten already this season.

“I am particularly looking forward to it because the defeat at home in the league disappointed and unnerved me, the same is true for the Super Cup.

“I think that in both games we deserved a lot more but this is football and the cup final is another game, another story. We have a rematch we can win and it will be an important match.”
