Inter youngster Cesare Casadei has praised the Nerazzurri’s current Primavera group and is looking forward to facing AC Milan soon, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking during an interview with the club’s in-house media channel Inter TV after a recent victory, via FCInter1908, Cesare Casadei explained that the unity amongst the squad right now is what led them to the recent 3-1 victory over SPAL.

“We managed to bring it home as a great group and as a great team. We were united even in difficult moments and we got three points. Against SPAL it was a test of maturity, they are a good team and in some moments they have us put in difficulty, but we have been united and compact. We have been good.”

He then explained that the only way Inter can get to the top of the table is to keep working hard: “Everyone has to give their contribution to the team, the further you go, the more the points become important: the only way to get between the top two is to continue working.”

The next game that the Inter U19s will play is against city rivals AC Milan. He feels that they have to bring the same desire and determination into that game as they had against SPAL on Friday afternoon.

“Even if Milan are in difficulty in the standings, the derby is still the derby: we have to go out on the pitch with the same desire and the same determination to bring home the three points.”

Cesare Casadei has been in fine form this season in the Primavera league. He has managed to score 14 goals and get four assists from midfield.
