The Falck Area Of Sesto San Giovanni Is Favoured By Inter & AC Milan With The Clubs Still Committed To Each Other, Italian Media Report

The Falck area of Sesto San Giovanni is growing in interest for both Inter and AC Milan when it comes to building a new stadium, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Corriere della Sera, the clubs are keen in the idea of moving their plans to the Falck area of Sesto San Giovanni.

This is because the municipal administration would welcome them with open arms and the clubs could save around €150 million by not having to pay for the demolition of the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza and the construction of an underground tunnel.

The land would also be owned by the clubs and not be under concession. As it stands the two clubs are still committed to building a shared stadium rather than having one each.

There is a chance that AC Milan’s new owners, Investcorp, could decide to have a separate stadium from Inter which force the Nerazzurri to do the same thing.
