Inter could have an important advantage in the race to sign Torino defender Bremer in the form of the Brazilian’s preference to play in a back three.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reported on air that that Brazilian is hoping to join a team who play with a back three defensive system and that this could favour the Nerazzurri.

Bremer is one of the main targets at the Nerazzurri for the summer transfer window, especially in the even that Stefan de Vrij is sold.

However, Inter are far from the only club with a strong interest in bringing the 24-year-old in and will have to win the race for his signature if they want to bring him in.

According to Di Marzio, however, the player’s tactical and stylistic preferences could play a key role, and in this respect the Nerazzurri could benefit.

“His name has ended up in the crosshairs of all the big teams in Serie A as well as beyond,” he said. “Inter really likes him, as well as teams from abroad.”

“Bremer has recently publicly stated his preference to continue playing for a team that uses a three-man defensive system,” he added. “The same one used by Inzaghi.”
